BACKGROUND
The time for change is now.
Bermuda’s healthcare system is one of the most expensive in the world — and yet our people’s health is still struggling in many aspects, including high rates of obesity and chronic illness (like diabetes, heart and kidney disease).
In order to address such issues, including the rising costs of healthcare on the Island, we must commit to strengthening our healthcare system.
The Bermuda Health Strategy 2022-2027 outlines eight strategic principles for improving healthcare in Bermuda — from promoting healthy living to harnessing healthcare technology and preventing wasteful care/ promoting efficiency.
